Jim Warrick of the 1972 Lompoc boys team was inducted along with his teammates into the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Hall of Fame. Lompoc won the Mt. SAC Invitational and then returned later in the season to capture the Southern Section Division 4-A title in the first year the finals were held at Mt. SAC. Warrick has coached the Lompoc program for 33 seasons.
