Jessica Ruiz, Lexi Whitman, Chelsea Wells, Amanda DeJesus and Lizeth Flores helped College of the Canyons win the women's 3-mile community college race at the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational for the first time in program history. All five COC runners placed in the top 15 to defeat Hartnell College 36-81. The Cougars also repeated as overall sweepstakes champions based on the combined success of their men's and women's teams.
