Cathedral Catholic's Joaquin Martinez de Pinillos, Bakersfield Highland's Moises Medrano and San Diego Serra's Anthony Bentitez were the top three finishers in the boys Division 3 Sweepstakes race at the 70th Annual Mt. SAC Invitational in Walnut. De Pinillos won the race as he clocked 14:48.1. Medrano, who competes in Central Section Division 2, shaved a full minute of his previous Mt. SAC best at 14:55.7 to finish second and Benitez clocked 15:04.3 to place third, which is 41 seconds faster than his previous Mt. SAC best.
