Landen LeBlond, a junior at Millennium High in Arizona, won the Division 2 girls varsity yellow race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. LeBlond covered the 2.93-mile course in 18:28, matching Kayla Case of Highland High for the second-fastest performance by an Arizona female athlete during the two-day event, trailing only Evelynne Carr of American Leadership Academy of Queen Creek, who clocked 18:19 in a Division 4 varsity race.
